I have this annoying tendency, imparted in me due to be privlege problems. Someone will tell me they need something besides food or water or basic shelter, and I’ll scoff inside.
“You don’t need anything” I’ll think to myself.
I can accept that I need to stay alive, and that’s it.
This is such a trap though. And I know it.
Didactic: intended to instruct. For example: the first chapter of the book was purely didactic, telling us how to communicate our needs.
